Swedish Flintlock Fusil – Long before Sweden became known for IKEA, they manufactured some good looking guns. This lightweight .63 caliber flintlock fusil was made around 1700 by Johann Blekberg. About this time, Swedish settlers were exploring the area that would become New Jersey. In this wild area, a fusil such as this would have been an essential tool for the settlers, both for hunting and protection.
