Probably purchased by George IV when Prince Regent A watercolour of a mounted officer from the elite Imperial Guard, which was personally commanded by Napoleon. The drawing is traditionally held to represent Marshal Mortier who was forced to miss the Battle of Waterloo due to an attack of sciatica. www.royalcollection.org.uk
