1934 Central area lithograph in colours map of the Underground was printed Waterlow & Sons. While it keeps with the colours, 45 degree angles and general look of Harry Becks classic map design, this central area map does contain lots of variances.
Fans of classic London Underground maps and posters are in for a treat this summer, as the London Transport Museum hosts an exhibition exploring over 100 years of historical materials and artworks created for the Underground.
