Pieter Coecke van Aelst was a painter and architect who produced sculptors, stain glass, tapestries. Pieter Bruegel became his apprentice and learnt art techniques from him although his work looked much different than his master's. They both painted biblical scenes but Bruegel usually emphasized the landscape. Bruegel ended up marrying his daughter Mayken in 1563 after moving to Brussels, Belgium.
