I remember when most families owned station wagons and we could sit in the back . no seat belts required! We had two different station wagons with the third seat when I was growing up.

When I was in grade school, my mom always made me sleep this way for picture day. The rest of the time I just wore a pony tail.

this is how my mother tortured me for not having the hair she wanted me to have. try sleeping in these!

I remember these well! I still have some that look exactly these two. I never use them should give them away I guess.

I remember when I used to sleep in these brush rollers. They ended up on the floor beside my bed by morning! I slept on the huge ones. Had thick hair in those days. Didn't feel the rollers, but my head was a foot off the pillow.

Gum wrapper chains...we made as long as boyfriend tall

Gum wrapper chains-Loved making them and finding the wrappers so I didn't have to literally chew all the gum. Sad that gum doesn't really have wrappers like this anymore.
