USCGC Taney. The Old and the Redone. Taney was at Pearl Harbor 12/07/1941. She was berthed at the Ammunition Depot to off load ammo for her yard period. During the attack, she put up such a fierce field of anti-aircraft fire that the Japanese bombers could not get to and destroy the Ammunition Depot. Taney is now berthed at the Baltimore, MD Inner Harbor as a museum.
