Imran Khan: Among the most complete cricketers of the modern era. While his captaincy and batting took more prominence in the latter part of his career, it was his bowling where he made his mark. In his first decade, he became one of the premier fast bowlers. Rhythmic run up on an angle, high jump, side on action and express pace, he was joy to watch. I saw him bowl in Pakistan's Caribbean tour of 1977, and his application, style and aggression made a lasting impression.
