Serve with a bed of baby bok choy: combine 1 1/2 c water and 3/4 c basmati rice; bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 12 minutes. Stir in 2 c baby bok choy; cover and cook 8 minutes. Combine 1 1/2 tbs soy sauce, 1 tb lime juice, 1/2 tsp sugar, and 1/2 tsp dark sesame oil. Stir into rice mixture.
Smoked Haddock Kedgeree. Traditionally a breakfast dish in Victorian England, this consists of curried rice, smoked haddock, and hard boiled eggs. Garnish with cilantro, parsley, and crushed red pepper.
