Marianne Hallberg is a Swedish ceramist with a fresh and unique take on traditional delftware. Hallberg makes charmingly illustrated pottery but also builds quirky sculptures out of slabs.

Ruth Gurvich, Lightscape for Nymphenburg (a European porcelain manufacturer, handcrafting the finest porcelain for over 260 years.)  "Lightscape is based entirely on paper models, sculpted from sheets of handmade paper. Curved and folded, the paper models were passed onto Nymphenburg to recreate in porcelain. They matched the original paper works, right down to the paper’s texture. The porcelain objects are unglazed and unpainted on the outside, maintaining their paper-like quality."
