Jane Seymour (c. 1508 – 24 October 1537) was Queen of England as the third wife of King Henry VIII. She succeeded Anne Boleyn as queen consort in May 1536. She died of postnatal complications less than two weeks after the birth of her only child, a son who reigned as Edward VI. An Irish Anne Boleyn-very similar to the famous portrait in the NPG, London.  I don't think too many people are aware of this portrait of Anne in 'The National Gallery of Ireland'.  There appears to be a pentimento where the artist did a double row of the pearled billament on her French hood.

Possibly Anne Boleyn, Queen of England There has been some recent mooting that this image may be Anne Boleyn. It was once called Jane Grey, but that identification is now dismissed. I doubt it can be Anne, but there are some interesting facts that point in that direction.
