thevintagethimble: Victorian Men’s Hairstyles & Facial HairA collection of Victorian photographs, depicting some of the hairstyles and facial hair fashion of the time, and a few rather unique hair styles like a man with ringlets.
1852 daguerreotype by Southworth & Hawes, a Boston photography firm. Hair is worn in quasi-Victoria loops with ringlets in back, reflecting early Crinoline hairstyles. Dropped shoulders and a V-shaped bodice also reminiscent of early Crinoline styles.
