Delta Lockheed L1011-385-1 Tristar. Long retired, but still one of my favorite jetliners of all time.

First flight: March Alitalia I-DYNB named 'Giotto di Bondone' Eastern Airlines Continental Airlines scrapped at Mojave in the early scan from a in my collection and not my own shot.

This is nothing to click on....BUT the only airport I have ever been in is the Eau Claire Airport...I have been in a 4 or 5 seat airplane at the Eau Claire airport and flew around Eau Claire with my Grandpa and brother when very young. I really want to fly in a huge plane like this....it amazes me that it can fly....and it must be beautiful up in the clouds....some day

Eastern Airlines was the first airline that I flew on, way back in My flight was to the island of St. Thomas, in the US Virgin Islands.

Delta L1011 Tristar. I flew on one ORD-PBI back in the 80s.

LOCHKEED TRISTAR rotates to take off attitude; a graceful yet very powerful bird.
