By Molly Crabapple (from The Graphic Canon: The Definitive Anthology of the World's Great Literature as Comics and Visuals, edited by Russ Kick, published by Seven Stories Press (2012)) (pen and ink)
Another very very VERY old picture (think 1986 or so lol) A remake of a panel of the old Marvel-comic of Transformers The Movie back in the 80's. Galvatron witnesses Unicron's incredible transformation from planet into an enormous robot (Galactus, eat your heart out). And as you can see: big bad Galvy ain't happy about it (70 x 50 cm, inked with pen and marker, coloured in Adobe Illustrator).
Comic artist Kate (Allen) Lacour created these symmetrical anatomical diagrams, rendered in pen and ink and painted in food coloring. This series comes as a side project to her popular comics, one of which, called Milk Teeth, features anatomical diagrams and wordless vignettes of mythical creatures.
