Sir George Brown GCB, KH, PC. After a distinguished career in the Peninsular Campaign, George Brown filled a number of staff roles for more than 25 years before being appointed to command the Light Division in the Crimea.  He earned the respect of his men leading from the front, with a horse shot from under him at Alma, and receiving a wound at Inkerman.  He retired a full General.

In 1946 Yale Joel Photographer placed a two-way mirror in the Times Square Theatre in New York and hid behind and photographed the passersby as they watched and arranged themselves.
