A grey moire taffeta ball gown trimmed with pink silk, circa with pointed front bodice, the polonaised skirt draped and cascading from the back, apron-like over skirt is made of grey organza.

Dress Date: ca. 1870–1880 Media: Pale Olive Green Taffeta, Damask, And Sateen Accession Number: 52.12.1a-b Cuirasse style bodice, central panel of figured blue-green silk, attatched lace collar. Overskirt of figured silk attatches to bodice and is elaborately draped at the back. Trimmed with chenille fringe. Underskirt of olive taffeta, ruched, trained and trimmed with pleated flounces. For a large bustle.

FCBTC / Dress ca. Pale olive green taffeta, damask, and sateen. Cuirasse style bodice, central panel of figured blue-green silk, attatched lace collar. Overskirt of figured silk attatches to bodice and is elaborately draped at the back.
