2ND MODEL COSMOPOLITIAN CIVIL WAR CARBINE

The Spencer Repeating Rifle was a lever action rifle that could fire 7 shots before needing to be reloaded, and about 20 shots a minute. This was a significant advantage against traditional muskets, which were less accurate and only fired 2-3 rounds per minute. It was devoloped during the civil war and used by the union army. It was a significant advantage for them. The confederates did not use it because didn't have enough factories to build the weapon and all the ammunition it needs.
