Shot blasted, twists removed and lengthened at the front end. Now in the jig for painting. The chassis has independent fort suspension whereas the real Bentley would have a beam front axle. Fortunately with the chassis irons and running gear its quite hidden (unlike many kit cars and other look-alikes) and will improve road holding /steering.

Gas tank under construction.  The 6.5 lire engine is not very fuel efficient.  10 mpg or thereabouts so we will need a big tank. Good job gas is cheap in the USA. #vintage_bentley #Charleston

Control pedals.  Pre war they are often mounted on the gearbox, Bugatti, Alfa, Alvis (see the vintage Alfa board also here)....   Post war they are typically chassis mounted as is this one. #vintage_bentley #Charleston
