La Begum et Aga Khan III , Yvette Labrousse met Sir Sultan Muhammad Shah, Aga Khan III in Egypt and they married on 9 October 1944 in Switzerland. The new Begum assumed the name of Om Habibeh after one of the Prophet Muhammad’s wives.[3] Her husband playfully nicknamed her "Yaky", which was composed from the initials of "Yvette", "Aga" and "Khan".

Begum Om Habibeh Aga Khan, born Yvette Labrousse, was the fourth wife of Aga Khan III, the 48th Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims. She is photographed at the portal of the mausoleum she ordered to be built to commemorate her dead husband (she became widow three years ago), and where she places a red rose every day. She is the third woman to be named 'Mata Salamat' of the Islamic world. Assuan (Egypt), April 1960.
