Dear Moose... up on Vancouver Island, middle of the night, a moose ran alongside my car for about 1/2 mile. What a rush!

See a moose in the wild! Unlike most other deer species, moose are solitary animals and do not form herds. Although generally slow-moving and sedentary, moose can become aggressive and move surprisingly quickly if angered or startled.
