My Spiritual Aspect : this picture depicts my bright beautiful Indian culture. Our cultures form a lot of who we are, and don't necessarily have a link to our religion. This picture is from a popular Indian festival, Diwali which is means "the festival of lights" To me Diwali means spending times with my loved ones and almost like a culmination of the year and the one month fast I observe before Diwali.
Diwali is also known as the Festival of Lights. The Diwali illumination, with lighted diyas, bring the supernatural brightness and joy with the hope of finding light in darkness, achieving knowledge where there is ignorance, and spreading love amidst hatred. Light is significant during Diwali because it signifies goodness. So, during the Festival of Lights, 'deeps', or oil lamps, are burned throughout the day and into the night to ward off darkness and evil.
