Graf von der Schulenburg. German ambassador to Moskow. He informed the Soviet ambassador in Berlin Dekanosov about Hitler's plan to invade the USSR soon. Stalin was told, but didn't believe it. He thought it to be a British trick to induce the Soviets to attack Germany (Anthony Beevor, Stalingrad). Later he had connections to the German resistance Group around Karl Goerdeler and was executed after July 20, 1944. A man of honor!
