A small piece of Tamba-fu, one of the most revered of the Japanese country textiles. Woven in the 19th century of hand spun cotton warp and a tsumugi silk and cotton weft. It colors distinctive: soft nut brown, undyed white and pale indigo. I love the detail of the seam stitching too.
