Let us not forget though how much Eric and Thor had to do with S.H.I.E.L.D. after the first Thor movie. Eric was probably like, "Wait, now he's here, too?!" Loki's face is s funny though.

It's kind of sad that people only know Loki as Thor's brother though. He's not just Loki. He's Loki, brother of the almighty Thor.

John le Carré, 1964

Monday of October 1931 Writer John le Carré, originally David John Moore Cornwell is born in Poole, Dorset, United Kingdom.

"The Spy Who Came in from the Cold." (1965). British agent Alec Leamas refuses to come in from the cold war during the 1960s, choosing to face another mission. This is a great classic, with Richard Burton Oskar Werner, and Claire Bloom. I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1965)

The acclaimed, best-selling novel by John le Carré, about a Cold War spy on one final dangerous mission in East Germany, is transmuted by director Martin Ritt into a film every bit as precise and ruthless as the book.

“A desk is a dangerous place from which to view the world.”   ― John le Carré

“…in the hands of politicians grand designs achieve nothing but new forms of the old misery…” - John le Carré, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

some arguments for my Avengers-theory by acantharia on DeviantArt

I'm pretty sure: Loki's birth mother was a Midgardian woman, who was kidnapped by Jotuns and died soon after giving birth to Loki. ( it sounds plausible)
