Just did this and it worked! 1 cup laundry detergent, 1 cup powdered dish detergent, 1/2 cup borax, 1/2 cup bleach. Wash on sanitary cycle. Put dish detergent and borax directly in washer. My pillows came out white! Dry with dryer balls to make sure pillows dry completely. -KD

2 pillows in wash + Persil Power-Cap (walmart only) + hot cycle + dry with tennis balls = super clean, white pillows

DRYING your pillows:  For down and feather pillows, use the air cycle. For synthetics, use the low heat setting.  Place the pillow(s) in the dryer, add a couple of tennis balls covered in clean socks or a few Homemade Dryer Balls to help FLUFF the pillows as they tumble dry. (If it’s a nice day you could also set them outside in the sun to dry!)
