The brief called for a low-budget temporary intervention and resourceful use of sponsor Fulton Umbrellas to stimulate the expected visitors crowd.

Light artist Bruce Munro's installation ‘Blue Moon on a Platter’, made of over 50,000 repurposed, discarded CDs pinned to undulating banks of an Amphitheatre which is 28 meters across.  Each ‘Moon’ holds 150 spheres containing coiled optic fibres within them.
