The German island Sylt is connected to the German mainland by the Hindenburgdamm with an 11 km-long railway line built on top. Every day, more than 100 trains pass over the causeway, 50 of those ferrying cars (there is no road link to Sylt).
Wuppertal Schwebebahn or Wuppertal Floating Tram is a suspension railway in Wuppertal, Germany. It is the oldest electric elevated railway with hanging cars in the world and an almost unique system. So much fun to watch!
