Here's a bed and casting you're not likely to see very often. If you look closely you'll see the hair style on the female face has definite Victorian curls that were a popular fashion back in the 1800's. The casting "portait", was a little known company from Chicago who's owner put pictures, of his three daughters, in some way shape or fashion......on all the furniture his company produced. This was obviously one of those three daughters.

Although not done as much today as it was back in the 1800's, stools and benches were often put at the foot of the bed to set on and get dressed. Because bedrooms were often smaller than todays, room for chairs to set on was a luxury. Whereby a stool to set on to take off your shoes etc. was quite practical.

Perhaps get the outer tubing painted very pale pink, but then have it crackled and rubbed off almost as much as the bed on the right to help it not be sickeningly sweet.more honestly sweet?
