A Marble Machine with a looping. It is a computer animation in POV-Ray. The 5300 lines of source are separated in 1 main file and 5 includes. The film was rendered on an Intel i5 in 9 days and 23 hours in one piece The 3800 .png files are fit together with VitualDub. Tree of Squares, by Michael Scharrer, rendered with POV-Ray. A tree made of squares. A relatively simple adaptation of the pythagoras tree fractal with small side branches. The Scene is entirely 2-dimensional, so raytracing it with POV-Ray may very well be considered overkill. However, the rich macro features and the large variety of interesting pigments provided by POV-Ray were very useful in creating this Povray Tree.
