The Perkins Chapel (Dallas, Texas) has four white columns consistent with the 18th Century Georgian genre made famous by Christopher Wren. The chapel was constructed in the 1950s and has since served as the main cathedral for the Perkins School of Theology and Southern Methodist University. The pews and furniture use 19th century influences including cherry colors with maple columns and Malaysian podouk carvings. Roman influences are also prevalent.
