Sgt Warren "Skip" Muck (1922–1945). One of the originals who trained in Camp Toccoa, Georgia, Muck fought in D-Day, Operation Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge. Muck and his friend Alex Penkala were killed from a direct hit in their foxhole from German artillery just outside the Belgian town of Foy. His Best Friend Donald Malarkey was deeply traumatized from his death.
This is Richard Winters of the famed Easy Company made known by the HBO mini-series Band Of Brothers. Not only was Winters an exemplary commander that led his men through some tough shit he was also rather nice to look at. Here he is at Camp Toccoa Georgia, 1942.
