Rembrandt's Reign - Ruby Ring of Circa 1670. A remarkable survivor, this natural no-heat ruby ring is quintessentially seventeenth century (circa 1670). At the core a deep plum red ruby cabochon (during this period a more common shape than a faceted stone) is set deep within a well of 20k yellow gold.
This stunning Verragio ring is set with a 3.1 carat natural blue sapphire and is crafted of 18k white gold. The sapphire is a dark rich color and is lovely. The ring is accented with pear brilliant cut and tapered baguette cut diamonds and is in excellent condition. It currently fits like a size 6.5 with two small sizer nubs installed to help keep the ring from spinning on the finger. The ring can be re-sized prior to shipping and we offer this service complimentary.
