B2 Spy Radio restoration - The B2 transmitter / receiver shown below is a WW2 clandestine radio used all over Europe. Designed for the special operations executive (SOE) by John Brown. Coverage is from 3-16 Mhtz in 3 wavebands. The Transmitter is crystal controlled, and has an output power of about 30 Watts. The valves / tubes used are American types 7Q7 x2 7R7 x2 6L6G EL32 . Now, after extensive repairs it is fully in commission again after all this time, complete with its miniature key.
