Legendary NEW ZEALAND BRED Australian racehorse, PHAR LAP (NZ) ch.g.1926.Night Raid (GB) - Entreaty. He was unusual in every way. Taller than most horses around him at 17.1hh, a stride of an estimated 25 feet and a large heart at 6.35kg (14lbs) which was proven by Australian scientists to be hereditary, passing through the female line. To this day, there's barely a single Australian or New Zealander who doesn't know who Phar Lap was.
