Queen Victoria`s Diamond Jubilee brooch, originally a Di Jubilee gift to QV in 1897 from her personal staff. In her will she left it to the Crown for the use of future Queens. It passed successively to Queen Alexandra, Queen Mary & Queen Elizabeth (Q.M.) who wore it often until 2002 when it came to the Queen. In the daytime the Queen wears this brooch without the diamond chain & drop pearl.
Queen Victoria`s Bow brooches were among the jewellery made for QV in 1858 following the loss of her grandmother, Queen Charlotte`s jewels to the King of Hanover. QV left them to the Crown & they have been worn extensively by Queen Alexandra, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth & Queen Elizabeth II.
