F/122 Aufklärungsgeschwader als einer der letzten Machinen, die im Januar 1943 noch vom Feldflugplatz Gumrak gestartet sind. Dieser musste, aufgrund massiver Feindeinwirkungen, am 22. Januar 1943 aufgegeben werden. Damit brach gleichzeitig die Luftversorgung des Kessels von Stalingrad zusammen.
