Tjelvar's Grave, the island of Gotland, Sweden. The grave has the shape of a ship and is 18 metres long, dated to around 1100-500 before Christ. According to an old saga Tjelvar was the first human being on the island.

A woman's short gown from Visby, Sweden.  The pattern of the printed cotton is in late baroque style, and the cut, with great width in the sides, suggest a dating to 1750-70.
