A German Rococo Silvered Armchair, Attributed to Johann August Nahl, Potsdam, circa

Set of four Neo-Rococo chairs, presumably the original furniture from Linderhof Palace, designed and produced by the workshops of Anton Pössenbacher circa 1873. Serpentine and richly carved lindenwood chairs with flowers and rocaille, painted gold. Height ca. 118 cm. The chairs are upholstered, one with original covers, which are brittle and have some holes. Wien, Dorotheum, 22.04.15, no. 588.
