Boškarin is a famous Istrian cattle. This animal is one of the oldest and largest cattle breeds in the world. This animal weighs up to 1.5 tons, has a great physical stamina and has long horns decorated with brass balls. He has become a rarity. This cattle was very widespread in Istria to the mid-XX century, and since then there are only a few hundred. Very typical of working animals, the peaceful nature of which was used for plowing and hauling.
