My husband PFC Joey Whitener is my Hero! He was fresh out of basic training when we were married on 12-21-2002. 9 months later I had our son Tristan on 9-13-2003. Joey was home on R from Iraq for the birth of our son. When he left to go back I never dreamed that would be the last time I would get to touch his face and hold him tight. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country which he loved so much! I thank God everyday that he was in my life even for a short time. -Beth
