This premium cask ale has a strong following throughout the country. Courage Directors was originally brewed exclusively for the Directors of the Alton brewery, but following public demand, the beer was made available to the public. It is genuine premium beer, pale brown in appearance with a deep rich taste. Full bodied with a clean, bitter taste, balanced with a sweet burnt, malty and fruity notes with a distinctive dry-hop aroma and flavour.

Cornwall's St Austell Brewery Tribute 4.2% brewed using specially grown Cornish Gold Malt. Roger Protz, Editor Good Beer Guide, wrote: "Tribute is a magnificent example of a bronze coloured English bitter, with a rich aroma of biscuity malt and tart citrus fruit from the Willamette hops. Juicy malt, hop resins and tangy fruit coat the tongue, while the finish is long and lingering, with a fine balance between malt, hops and fruit, finally becoming dry and bitter." St Ives Oct'12

If a job’s worth doing, it’s worth overdoing. Big Job is a BIG beer, 7.2% alcohol, dry as a bone and jammed full of Cornish barley and as many Citra and Centennial hops as we could get our hands on. It’s not subtle, but if you love the taste of big, powerful hops Big Job will be just the Job for you!

Thanks to the sunshine and warmer temperatures last year British #butterfly species like the Brimstone, Common Blue and Clouded Yellow bounced back. Our own Clouded Yellow #Ale is one of our most distinctive beers. Brewed in the Weissbier style, this wheat #beer is flavoured with cloves, coriander and maple syrup.

My favourite beer, HSD 'HICKS SPECIAL DRAUGHT' - 5.0% ABV Brewed with plenty of malt and lashings of English Fuggles and Golding hops, HSD is a truly classic ale of considerable depth and complexity. Brewed by St Austell Brewery Cornwall
