Paula Jane Radcliffe is the current women's world record holder in marathon with her time of 2:15:25 hrs. She is also a three-time winner of the London Marathon, two-time NY Marathon champion and former world champion. Despite suffering from childhood asthma and anaemia, she took up running at the young age of seven, proving that illness and age is all just in the mind. Paula is a strong advocate against use of steroids in athletics and campaigns actively for her beliefs.
