Memory Candles: This is such a fun way to display photographs! The technique uses black and white photocopies and transparent contact paper to transfer images to glass votive candleholders. What happens is that the black ink sticks to the contact paper.
Simply GLUE the cup to the saucer for a nice Candle Holder. A GREAT way to use Old or Chipped China. haven't any ? The THRIFT STORES are full of them. the cup handle automatically becomes a handle for the carrying of a candle too.
DIY coffee-scented candles pour beans (the cheaper, the better) into a small glass jar; just leave a quarter-inch of space on the top, then nestle a vanilla tealight in snugly. smells like a fresh pot of vanilla coffee — even after the candles are out.
DIY Balloon Luminaries - Fill small balloon with water. Dip repeatedly in melted paraffin wax. When set, carefully pop balloon. Place tea light inside and light. These melt a bit with real candles, so try battery tea lights!
