Delicious Fresh Peach Fritters
Bunny's Warm Oven: Delicious Fresh Peach Fritters: Well.... I liked these, I will say that, but I found the directions to be lacking when it came to frying the dessert. It gave a vague time and didn't explain what it should look like or texture. I also found that mine weren't getting cooked all the way through and had to open a few and re fry. But all in all a good dessert. I think I will look else where for another recipe though
These are just like the tamales my Abuelita used to make for special occasions. This recipe makes a lot, but if you're going to go to all the trouble of making tamales from scratch, you might as well have a party! You will need butchers' twine and a large pot with a steamer basket to make these. May be frozen up to 6 months in heavy-duty resealable plastic bags. To reheat, thaw in refrigerator and then steam or microwave until heated through.

Muy Bueno! Seasoned perfectly, this Carne guisada is very, very good. The combination of fresh vegetables and cumin is fabulous. Once cooked, the meat is tender with a sauce that gets thickened at the end. This stew is simple to prepare but does take time to cook down. Don't rush it... The key to this recipe is low and slow....
