I am always looking for ways to find artsy activities to use in math class, and this year I found this one that I used in the trigonometry unit of my pre-calculus class. I love doing card sorts like this in the classroom! This one is amazing because it uses all similar numbers...so students can't just guess! This Compound Inequalities card sort activity requires students to solve compound inequalities (and & or) and match them to the correct solution and number line. Students will cut out the solutions & number lines and match them to the correct compound inequality on the student response sheet.
