Great aerial of the Royal Gardens in Hanover, Germany. Seen are the Great Garden, and parts of the Berggarten. Started in 1638 as a vegetable garden for Duke Georg von Calenberg, added-on to by his son Johann Friedrich in 1655, and expanded to roughly its current size between 1676 and 1710 by Duke Ernst Augustus for his wife Duchess Sophie von der Pfalz.
