Lao Tzu, also known as Laozi, existed during the 6th century B.C, known for his writings of the “Tao Te Ching” or “Daodejing”. Tzu is also the philosophical founder of “School of the Tao” or Taoism. Described as a way of life which is all about harmonious living and rests largely upon the idea of self-awareness. Laozi often expressed his feelings and ideas by the ways of a paradox, analogy or clever turns of phrase. Some say Lao Tzu was also known as the legendary Confucius.
