I'm lucky that I've climbed this dune! Dune 45 in Sossusvlei is one of the most beautiful sand dunes in the world. Standing over 170 meters, it is composed of 5 million year old sand that was brought by the Orange River from the Kalahari Desert.
An estimated tribal people live in the Omo Valley in Ethiopia. The Karo are small in number with around living on the Omo River's eastern banks. Before a ceremony, they paint their bodies and faces with white chalk.
