Basic Sewing Skills Ribbon Bookmark
Tonight for our class activities we are going to review clothing and laundry basics and things you need to know to maintain your clothing. It uses a piece of ribbon (whatever length you want to fit your book), a hair band elastic, a button and needle with thread. (To prevent fraying, I used a lighter to melt the ends of the ribbon, just a tip!) 1st- We taught the girls to thread a needle, then we folded over…
Winter Gifts for Students
This year's Winter Gifts have been brought to you by . . . .Pinterest! You know . . . that addictive new kingdom that sucks you in and all you now know how to do is "repin", "repin", "repin"! Ribbon Bookmarks by stampcrazzzy - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I really liked the ribbon bookmarks done at convention, but I just can't bring myself to use my HPH on them! Okay, I'll admit it, I'm a hoarder!!! SO I made these without the HPH. I punched out a piece of chipboard to make each one stronger. I had a ton of the Flower Fusion colors from the last catty (Yep, I was hoarding them!) so I used them for the bookmarkers. I will sell these at an upcoming craft fair.
