Valknut Button. The Valknut is an ancient Norse symbol. It is often called Hrungnir's Heart, after the legendary giant of the Edaas. It is also know as the knot of the calin, and it has been found on stone carvings with funerary motifs, possibly a symbol of the afterlife. The nine points are suggestive of the nine worlds and the nine fates of Norse mythology.

"This is my second tattoo. The snake represents an ouroborus which is basically a concept of eternal reoccurance and the tree is supposed to symbolise a tree of life which means ever-growing and ever-learning in life. Its a concept which I want to remember for the rest of my life.Love his work. If any of you guys are ever in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Telwin from Bloody Ink Tattoo is your guy.
