The aim of our work is to nurture healthy soil. With compost we can contribute to soil health 🌎🌱

Why do we love soil and protect it with every compost cycle?

Composting is nothing new 🤓
Archaeological findings indicate that people have been composting since Neolithic times. These early farmers probably didn't bother to spread the compost either - researchers believe they built the piles on the cultivated land and then drove their light ploughs right through them. Sounds easy 😁

25 Years to decompose in a landfill🥬
Hard to believe, but true! Biological waste like a salad head should not end up in landfills 🥬🚯 If they lie buried under tons of garbage, they lack oxygen and space for composting. Organic waste belongs on the compost heap - or soon in KALEA 😍Otherwise, it releases methane gas and harms the environment.

The groundbreaking report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) confirms the need to focus more on methane gas as a near-term driver of global warming than CO2. Radically reducing methane gas is the "greatest opportunity" to prevent tipping points from being reached. In addition to prevention through lower meat consumption, reducing our food waste is equally important 💚🌍 That's because improperly disposed organic waste continues to rot in landfills and generate methane gas.

KALEA shreds, dries and composts organic waste in a patented 3-step-system. By providing optimal conditions for the microorganisms, fresh compost is the end result after 48 hours. We can guarantee that what we call compost is actual, real compost, tested in the lab. But why are we talking about 👉 real compost👈 ? You can't simply recognize compost at first glance. The characteristics are hidden microscopically small: in the nutrients, the microorganisms present, the moisture, or the pH value.

KALEA composts without additives and uses the power of nature in a patented process
Every food has microorganisms in it by nature. They process your food scraps and break them down - so that in the end fresh compost is created. KALEA provides them with the perfect conditions to do this 🥰 Citrus fruits have no place in a normal compost heap – they take far too long to decompose. KALEA gets the job done in only 48 hours. And brings all the good nutrients from the lemon into your compost. Just like a balanced meal, the base for your homemade compost should be balanced too.
